Something was going on for almost a year and a half concerning Fidel's health. Raul
his brother, may be in control of the national army for a while, however he is 76
years old.
Raul has different ideas and policies ti implement, but not right away.
The inner circle in Cuba preside by Lage, is the controlling body of government. The
resignation of Fidel is not enough to have the U.S.A., changes directions towards
releasing the embargo, which by the way in reality there is no embargo as such.
In Cuba there are government stores that only the tourist people can go in there and buy everything is needed, of course paying only in US dollars.
there is any type of electrical appliances, food, clothing, liquour, meat, poultry, etc.
etc.
However the "cuban people as a whole" are not allowed access to those stores.
The only way "cuban nationals" be allowed to enter is when accompany by a
foreigner, including U.S. citizens (born in Cuba).
Cuba has commercial relations with Canada, Mexico, Spain and other european
contries where Cuba gets all type of merchandise, equipments etc.
However nothing goes to the general public stores, where "cubans" has to show
the "rationing book".
There is more to come.
Thanks for this opportunity to express myself in a short form.
