Do you think the semi-nude photos of Miley Cyrus for Vanity Fair went too far?

Miley Cyrus recently took part in a photo shoot for Vanity Fair that she claims was intended to be artistic. Now the semi-nude photos of the 15-year-old are causing an uproar. Do you think photos went too far?

At 15 yo the photos were a bit much... I think it should also go back to the parents since they were there... this is showing our young kids that this is ok... and it is NOT! have enough sex predators and then to have these photos....

I don't believe that her photos went to far. Espescially because her parents were there. Not only that, Miley is a typical teenager, the thing is she is a celebirty and just because of that the whole world sees all of her photos that aren't meant to be seen.

This picture is not as bad as it is coming up to be.  They are just trying to catch her doing something not so "perfect" and this is the best they could come up with.  She is a great example of a role model for children!..

I don't think she did anything wrong, she wasn't showing anything. People just get to dramatic over nothing. Miley is my role model.

I love Miley!  I've seen the pics and I don't believe they're as "bad" or "distasteful" as everyone is making them out to be.  She didn't have those pics taken to be seen as a "sex-symbol", she had them taken as an expression of art.  She is a good girl, a funny girl, and unlike all of the rest, she has her head on straight and has a good moral foundation.  Everyone, especially the media, are just using this as another selling point in the garbage that they report on.  If she weren't so popular and good, no one would even care!

I dont think that Miley did anything wrong. She is gowning up. She is trying to move her carrer ahead. The pictures have nothing wrong with them. She showed a little skin. I dont think that she would have taken the picture if she would have thought people would have acted this way. People need to get over it!

The photos are artistic ... if you're looking for "sexual content" than that's what you'll see ... "if your looking for innocence, then that's what you'll see".  It's a shame the media builds people up and then seeks to break them down.  Miley is a sweet girl, and she has a good family.  She'll make mistakes (as we all have and do), but her close family ties will help her through.

I do not think the pictures went too far. There is nothing to make a big deal out of it,especially if her parents approved the photo session. Our children are expossed to this (sex) society and it is up to us to educate them

I think that the photos just weren't that bad! I'm 15 and I've been a fan of Miley's for a while now and I have been to her concerts here in Tampa and Orlando! Honestly, my friends take pictures of themselves that are a lot worse. They think it's too "childish" for me to be a fan of Miley's, but then when these photos come out they think it's wrong for me to like her. I think that she's just taking small career steps to becoming mature instead of just throwing something unexpected out there like Britney. If she doesnt take these steps, then her career will be over by the time she's 18. And it's not like she's in rehab or out club-hopping every night! I still look up to her and support her! If this is the worst thing going on for her in her career then good for her!

You know people are going to talk and find bad in the most innocent thing. Her parents were there and I don't think they would allow her to be exploited .
Unfortunately there are lot of perverted minds in our society.

I find the photos discusting! Young kids watch Hannah Montana on TV and really look up to her. The don't need to see her being sexually exploited.  Shame on her and on her parents. It's ashame that magazines feel that sex is what sells.  After the Clinton administration, the morals of today just do not exist.  It's time we take a stand and punish those who continue to use sex as a selling object.

I'm 12 and Miley is one of my rolemodels and it makes me feel terrible that she has to pay for the wrong of the photographer. Miley is suffering for a picture that Annie told her to pose for. It's not right that Miley is apologizing. Annie should be.

I think that it was fine! Miley didnt do anything wrong. You couldnt see anything but her back. Yourself and family are the hardest people on you. If her family thought it was fine so should we! I dont think she should be sorry.

I thought the picture of her and her Dad was not very father and daughter like, she looks more like a young lover. not a good pose for a Father and Daughte.
Where was her Dad when she was half naked?
Vanity Fair should be charged with child porn.
If this is not Porn, please explain to the public why it is not Child Porn?
This is not ART, not by todays standards.

I cant beleive that they still are able to get away with this stuff with these kids.  This is one reason that the teens now days are so confused and out of control.  The constant sex, sex, sex, in our community is why I think they are naive.  I cant beleive the photographer said she was trying to capture innocence,  they are very revealing photos that should have been done with much more taste than that.  Show these kids that its ok to cover their bodies, they dont have to show off everything to get attention.

I think the parents are responsible but I also think any magazine that would take advantage of a 15 year old young girl just to sell there magazines is deplorable and I for one will never buy a Vanity Fair magazine again.

I think the picture of Miley is not in good taste.  A normal teenager should not wear provocative clothing and should not pose half nude.  I also think that she should not have posed with her father the way they did.  You would think that her parents would want to protect their daughter a little better than these photographs show.  If her parents wanted to have a picture of their daughter like this one, they should have one taken and hang it in their house and not put it on the front of a popular magazine for the whole world to see.  I do not want to hear of Miley becoming a person like some of the other young people.  Please stay a good role model for the kids.

What a shame! I don't see the cause of this stink! The photos of Ms. Cyrus are stunning, I remember when a pregant semi nude Demi Moore graced the cover of a magazine. I only hope that this negativity will not affect her career.....
