I was a member of WW for over 9yrs, the church grew so quickly. Anyone who was involved from the beginning knows that the church really changed when it entered the new former Canada Dry building. This is before Paula was becoming popular, you could sense the urgency for money and the lack of concern for their people as Pastor's.
The members weren't as important as who was being invited to preach on Sunday Night. The church became known for it's dynamic guest, such as TD Jakes,Eddie Long, Miles Monroe,and Rod Parsley to name a few. If you weren't volunteering in a particular ministry you really didn't matter. Randy and Paula were just the perfect couple and Pastor's, once Paula started becoming popular things started changing. Being famous or well known has a price, I don't know exactly what price the White's have paid but I do know onething it was extremely high.

I came out of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, and I can say it is almost a clone of Without Walls Int'l.  It is all about money, who the next mega-pimp is that's coming to town to get more of your money, and what new ways we can think of to get even more money out of the people. These pimps live like movie stars, with their jets, mansions, vacation mansions, designer clothes, fancy fleet of expensive cars....like a $300,000 Rolls Royce. How many poor people could that feed.

People need to wake up, quit giving these pimps money, and quit believing these LIES!  They don't care about anything but money! It has gone to their heads.  Maybe they started out right, but money and the love of money got the best of them!!  Hagee changed the name of his TV station from GETV to GRACE Church b/c he didn't want to have to be accountable to the people who give him money. His board is his family and one friend.  Everything is done in the highest secrecy!  If its honest, then why hide everything?  They all do it except the normal honest ones who still preach the truth.  

WAKE UP PEOPLE! THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL IS A FALSE GOSPEL! THE ARE SELLING A FALSE JESUS!!  JESUS WAS NOT RICH AND HE DIDN'T GO AROUND MAKING OTHER PEOPLE RICH! HE TOLD THEM TO SELL THEIR RICHES, GIVE TO THE POOR,  AND FOLLOW HIM.

I have no problem with someone being rich by legal gains, but to constantly ask for other people's money over and over again with the chant "I need your help", when you are able to give luxery vehicles as gifts, shows the existence of some deeper issues.  I live in an Eastern European country.  We have a new SUV, another older vehicle, a computer, nice clothes, etc. Lets say I want to bake a cake for a neighbor who needs encouragement, but I am out of sugar, eggs, flour, etc.  I go to the local coffee shop and start telling the folks gathered there that I really want to do this good deed though I don't have the ingredients, but if they will donate them, then we together will get the cake baked.  I think the locals would stare back at me wondering why I don't just hop in my SUV and go buy the ingredients myself if doing this good deed is so important to me.  This is the way I see Mrs. Whte's constant schemes to wrangle (1: to obtain by persistent arguing or maneuvering) money out of others' pockets.

If she wants to do good deeds, then why doesn't she continue to write books, earn big profits and then work within HER budget, not other peoples'?

I am currently a member of WWIC.  And I am confused as to why Pastor Paula continues to refer to herself as the pastor of our church.  All her photos and links have been removed from the WWIC website.  She no longer teaches the ladies ministry, "Women of th Word."  And has removed herself from all church events other than her own book release and signing.  She has purchased a home in San Antonio, TX and currently lives there and NY.  I would truly like to know why does Paula White falsely advertises herself as the Pastor of a mega church she has nothing to do with anylonger.  I also pose the question, when will she address the issue an alleged affair with Bishop Rick Hawkins.  And the alleged affair between her makeup artist and Dustin Hawkins.  Before both of the Hawkins divorces in Feb 2007.

It is a Christians responsiblity to give, to tithe and to help others. Once the gift is given, it is then the responibility of the receiver to pay forward. If you are called to be a minister and you accept the call, you have an even greater responsibility to be faithful as your example is most visible. We all will be held accountable for our actions or lack of action come judgement day.

I am commenting on the interview with Paula White and the separation of Minister Randy White. Paula is very diplomatic in her answers and was open to the separation and how we can heal from an experience like divorce.

I would like to provide 3 key learnings for Brendan if I will ever watch flashpoint again:

Brendan started the interview with monologue and immediately turned me off in terms of his direction to the question he wanted to ask. His questions should be direct and relevant that viewer may receive an informative interview.

Secondly, several times he cut Paula White off and did not let her complete her thoughts. This concerns me when as an interviewer the goal is to provide the viewer what Paula White want to say. This is difficicult when she didn't have a chance to complete her thoughts.

Lastly, the interview was ended so abruptly, I didn't get the true essence of what the interview was all about. I know that a book was highlighted at the beginning and the end but the interview--was there relevance? Am I supposed to go buy-it?

I was cleaning the garage and cutting the grass and saw the exert that Paula White was going to be interviewed. Needless to say, I waited 15 minutes to see this interview and was highly disappointed.

This fake reminds me another religious couple that bilked innocent people out of millions of hard earned money, maybe with a bit less makeup but still with the same goals.  Paula White and her kind want only to enrich their pockets with the money of gullible souls.  All that wealth can buy lots material things along with all those Botox injections but it won't buy her way out of Hell.  I hope Paula White and Tammy Faye Baker have a wonderful time comparing their money grubbing lives as they burn.

I just saw your interview with Paul White. She said "I never want to give a permanent answer." That should be her middle name. What a smarmy, slimy, slithering serpent!

It's time for us to demand that our religious leaders live humble lifestyles and make their finances totally transparent.

I've been to WWIC several times. Contrary to conniving claims, they attempt to sell miraculous health, wealth, and a place in Heaven. They use psychosocial manipulation, including tongue-speaking and repetitious lyrics, to equate worshiping with tithes and offerings. To refuse giving the ministry money is the same as "stealing from God".

During one such rapturous invocation, Paula commanded her bodyguards to close the exit doors until more offerings were brought forward. They have people rise from their seats to bring money in front of the "pastor".

There will always be those who come along to sell us what we can have for free. It's sad to see all those broken people being so manipulated. I don't know why God doesn't send a lightning bolt right through both Randy & Paula's heads.

Hey Disappointed, who cares that you didn't like the interview. What Brendan did was to get to the point and not have Paula babbling on with her corporate mumbo jumbo. I use to work with Brendan and he is as a respectable interviewer and responsible as anyone else in the business. He has worked hard to get to where he is. I defend him 100% for the interview that he did and have no problem with the questions he asked.

What did you expect? Did you think as a journalist he was going to sugar coat everything so Paula can have a "nice" interview. This isn't Entertainment Tonight Mr.! Those shows kiss up to celebrities and give them softball questions.

If Brendan kept talking about the book and not say anything about what's going on in the church, what kind of journalist would he be? It is irresponsible in the proper setting NOT to ask questions about things that have been controversial with her ministry. Stop being such a mark (a fan) for Paula and her phony church. She lives the high life and doesn't care who doesn't like it.

Who Cares!

It shouldn't surprise me that another viewer saw Paula White as "diplomatic."  He also states that Brendan cut her off several times and did not let her complete her thoughts.

Before this morning I had never heard of Paula White nor was I familiar with WWI, so I watched the program with no preconceived notions about either and was curious about myself as I felt myself become more and more agitated, upset and close to angry.

Paula White is the most evasive person I have ever seen in an interview.  When Brendan questioned her lifestyle she simply said she lives less extravagantly than many of her peers.  She then turns the question to idiocy by telling Brendan that others might look at his tie and think he earns too much money and should be buying $5.00 ties.....  She also said that Brendan was implying that her congregation (flock) is the "less privileged,"  but in fact spending money on private jets, Trump apartments, etc. is something they also might do.  She completely avoids the fact that anyone "of the cloth" - or even good samaritans - would certainly spend these excess dollars on the less fortunate in any number of ways.  

If she answered ONE question asked of her, I would like someone to spell it out.  

Brendan was very fair in his questioning. He only has a short time to fit in the questions we are all looking for answers for!  She was wasting time skirting around every issue. Several times she was throwing back oranges to his apples. She never gave a direct response to her accountability.  She needs to start answering directly instead of doing the "Clinton responses".  She reminds me of exactly how he responded to his infidelity and degradation of character and office.  Because of their position, power and prosperity they feel that thier improprieties are somehow inadmissable in the court of moral judgement.  God is black and white...judgment day will be black and white...He will have the final say and the truth of His Word and His commandments will prevail.  She won't be able to skirt the issues and hide behind smoke screens then. Who do they really think they're fooling?

As of today this is my first knowledge of Randy and Paula.  I am not a member of their ministry or entertainment.  After listening to Brandon's interview with Paula  prove many things to me.   I feel for the many people whom have fallen to their  religious tactics.  When religious people are running around the world like rock stars and living so extravagant like rock stars.  It does not take a genious to figure out that these are scam artist and are from the dark side of evangelism. Don't forget scam artist come from all walks of life. Paula did NOT answer one direct question from Brandon's interview.  She was completely evasive on every question.  It is obvious their followers or non followers should look deeper to seek out Randy and Paula true agenda.  It will not be pretty after an investigation is done.  Brandon, you opened a can of worms which needs to be continued to get to the bottom of this deception.  Good Job Brandon for bringing this to the public's attention.  There are great evangelism ministeries, but this does not  seem to be one of them. Paula and Randy's agenda seems to be "it is all about or for me" and not God or the people.  

Paula White is brilliant!  She could convince her followers that the earth is flat, the moon is made of cheese and the stork really does deliver babies through her twisted interpretations of biblical references.  In fact the bible is her weapon.  She wields it  like the great white hunter stalking rabbits with an elephant rifle.  When Brandon called White out on her blatant display of wealth through the obvious manipulation of those less fortunate, she immediately quoted the bible with a completely irrelevant passage thus shifting the focus from herself.  This is the art of manipulation.  Of course Paula White and all those like her who use Christianity for their own gain have no worries.  When judgment comes all they have to do is ask God for forgiveness and the gates of heaven will open.  Carte blance for living an irresponsible life.  

Brendan, I commend you for trying to get straight answers out of Ms. White.  Ms. White is so used to making up her own convoluted blessing babble that any hope of redemption will have to be a God-given miracle (versus a Paula-given one).  Ms. White reasoned that she was blessed to be a blessing. The material things she owns came from coercing people to plant that seed and give "to God".  Those so-called blessings came from Ms. White's hands and benefit only Ms. White.  Why is it we hear so much from all the people hurt by this ministry and none that have truly benefited?  Why is it when asked to justify the extravagant lifestyle, Ms. White compares herself to the world's wealthiest (not to Christ's lifestyle of poverty) and has the gall to state that it is her preference to choose?!!  I thought comparing Brendan's tie and the cost of his tie to her jets, cars, homes and lifestyle was beyond the pale.

  Successful ministers don't drive around in cheap vehicles or live among the middle class church goers.  The Bible states that it is a sin to divorce and theft is a violation of the 8th amendment. Remember that God comes first than the family and the church--some of us feel that God made a mistake in his ten commandments as we see in the 4th to keep sabbath holy---most of our church people keep suns day holy--maybe our calendar is all wrong--we know prayer in the schools are and the word Jesus Christ usage in the military can get you court martialed--what next????

WOW......Paula White's next book should be called how to go through an entire interview and never answer a single question you are asked!!!  She skated around EVERYTHING Brendan asked her, trying to back to the word and make it a sermon.
If you want to go all into the Bible and the words of God then how about the teaching in the Bible that says that there is only one cause under heaven for which a husband or wife shall be given a letter of divorcement!!!!
And Paula was correct on one thing, there is a season for everything in life, except marriage, which is to be until death do you part!!
And pastor of a church being divorced two times, not a church I would attend!!!
I do firmly believe that the devil will attack the foundation first, but at the same time I believe that if you as a christian are living out the Bible, you would have no grounds for divorce!!!!!!
As for the money issues, I can't even go there, it's a disgusting thing to think someone could roll up in their several hundred thousand dollar car to minister to the poor & homeless people, for heavens sake do you realize how many more people could be helped with the proceeds from the sell of just one of her vehicles????

You tried hard, Brendan, to get straight answers in your Paula White interview, but you were up against a real pro.  Ms White has mastered the confuse-and-suffuse tactics of smarmy politicians; filling the air with useless words.  Her canned non-responsive responses were insulting.  But she did get what SHE wanted - a little free promotion of her book. However, given her complete failure in the interview at directness, thoiroughness and the humility of legitimate clergy,  I'll skip the book.

It is detestable to take the Word of God and use it to get people to give to build her kingdom. Someone should be doing exit interviews of people who leave that church. Thank you Brendon and I am hoping that more reporters will begin to investigate and dig as to what is going on in that church. Someone needs to investigate her involvement with the San Antonio Texas pastor who was recently divorced, it just happens that she purchased another home in his area. Oh, maybe she wont want to talk about that either. If you are in a position to exose more, please do it. Poor innocent people are believing their stuff because they use the Word of God. And because people don't confront things.

Please may the reporters quit reporting that WWCI is a 22,000 member church. Even the members say there are not 22,000! Someone needs to attend the 3 services and count the members. I think this is really a false number. But this is the kind of tactics they use to build their empires, total exaggeration! Another word for lies.

This is unbelievable!  This woman should be Hilary Clinton's running mate.  Both of these women are the most self-serving, power-hungry, double-talking women on the planet.  Paula White is the ultimate chameleon.  When she's preaching to a black crowd, she can lay it on with the most fluent ebonics ever heard.  When she's being interviewed, she has elegant diction and a very well-scripted non-speak (she says a lot of great sounding words, but says nothing).  She's working her plan and nothing and no one (including husband, children, family, friends, or Word of God) will dare to stop her.  The sad thing about all of this...she truly believes her own press!   She has scripted every move for over ten years and she now seems to believe that she is "All That".  She has proven, by the course of her life, that she is much more committed to her fame, success, and "empowerment' than she is to any relationship or commitment to anyone or anything else.  This is sad.

I saw the interview with Paula White prior to my leaving to attend service at a new church!  I attended WWIC for three years before I realized the popularity and "rock star" treatment was tainting their focus on spreading the gospel.   I stopped attending WWIC a year ago.  When I read about their seperation I was saddened, but not surprised.  I still believed that both have good hearts, but money and fame had become prime focus.

Now that I've seen the interview I've never felt so disgusted.  Paula didn't answer ONE SINGLE QUESTION.  Brendan's questions were fair.  Not once did he force an answer.  As a former journalist, I respect his patience and restraint.  After all, the television doesn't lie.  She showed what a hipocrit and true politician she's become...in the name of scripture.  

I'm sure that Paula's representatives will have time to review this blog.  My message to her and Randy White is to simply tell the truth.  I had so much respect for you when you preached the "perfect church for imperfect people".  Now you're hiding behind scripture.  You're entitled to a private life and private pain.  You've become greedy and a two time screw up.  Admit it and move on!

Most of the comments have said all that needed saying.  I thought the questions and interview showed the excellent preparation that I have become accustomed to.  You were persistent, penetrating but polite, but it did little to break down the facade this lady has nearly perfected.  It is always amazing to me, and most of the commenters, I assume, how such a phony can attract so many people. She got a little nervous and tongue tied when you brought up her handling of finances. Again she uses the Word of God, taking you to the four rivers that ran in the garden of Eden. I remember this happened in the 80's with the Bakers. But I think this one is worse, there's no repentance, yet. And that means she thinks "she's all that."  Two divorces, and running. This is not consistant with the Christian faith. Husband and wife are a picture of Christ and His church. They do not change with the "seasons" as she put it. It is a covenant promise.What a shame!

my christian husband left me years ago for no good reason. there was no adultery, and he did abuse me a few times. but he left me because "I didn't make him happy." i tried to reconcile with him but he would have none of it. he even said God had told him to get back together with his first wife, therefore we couldn't reconcile. when he told me that, i quit trying and moved on. he called me once after that but i had zero trust in him and the Lord told me to move on. he had abused me, divorced me, abandoned me and left me penniless without even a roof over my head and the kids, and almost remarried his first wife, and therefore i was free. the hardest part about this was that my ex had no scriptural reason to leave me but he did. it happens, folks. i do believe P and R have forsaken God and have committed adultery against each other and God. who did they commit adultery with: the god of mammon. if they would only repent, God would have mercy.

The IRS, FDLE, FBI should investigate this woman. She is living the life of a rock star from the money the poor people gave to be used to feed the hungry and clothe the naked. There are so many corporations in she and her husband's name where they siphon money from the church and runs it through these corporations. She and her ex husband should be put in prison for scamming poor people.

A few years ago, I ran into a lady who once attended WW.  I was still attending at that time (I do not now).  She advised me that she had been a tithe-paying member while at WW and asked the church ONE time for assistance with her electric bill after being out of work--THE CHURCH REFUSED TO HELP HER!  Brendan, you did a great job with the Paula White interview.  Thanks for getting straight to the point with your questions (even though she provided no answers), and a double thanks for not allowing her to take over the interview with her babblings.      

I'm not from Tampa, I'm for Missouri and I have been a partner with Paula White's ministry for years. I will not continue partnering with her any longer. I was very upset at how she didn't answer any of the hard questions. I have supported her for years and I feel I diserve to know why she and Randy are divorcing. She said in the interview she and Randy will continue to work together for the gospel. What?? I don't understand why they don't step down for the pulpit and work on their marraige. She acts as if the are still friends,  no big deal. The BIBLE I read say's the only grounds for divorce is adultry. If Randy cheated on u Paula, why not just say it. I think the members of WWIC have a right to know what their pastor is really doing behind closed doors. Thanks for the interview Brendan it was eye opening for me. You indicated that you were a little surprised that so few came to Paula's defense when it came time to comment on your interview.

Well, you shouldn't be that surprised. People such as Paula and other well-known Christian pimps (Mike Murdock, Robert Tilton, Steve Munsey, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, etc.) can only exist in an environment that promotes Biblical illiteracy and refuses to ascertain the true teachings of Christ. So much of what they have to "offer" is apostasy in its highest form. All the talk about "seed money" and "obtaining a harvest" based on planting the seeds is so convoluted in reasoning that it's hardly worth the time one could spend combating it. Does anyone stop to ponder that the tithe mentioned in Malachi is NEVER mentioned in the New Testament, that money was NEVER mentioned as an offering to God, that ONLY crops and animals were given in observance to God's sovereignty? But they don't bother to befuddle people with the facts. It's just so much easier to raise money by prostituting the Scriptures in order to gain the trappings of the "good life" which the Scriptures warn about so often.

Security Officers at a recent taping of the Paula White broadcast have told several people of a crazy stunt where a naked man danced his way on to the set as the higher ups cheered him on.  This stuff doesn't even happen at football games. I've had it with these folks, my wife and I are moving on.

Brendan, excellent interview. That botoxed tanning bed addict really displayed her lack of integrity. I have a friend, a mother of four, who is suffering painfully from MS and is in desperate need of a wheelchair. She's a gullible, loyal, tithing member of Paula's Piggy Bank and asked for help to get a wheelchair so that maybe she can try to get back to work. I'd be glad to connect you with her, if you like. Those "good Christians" turned her down, and then tried to hold her up for $40 for a signed copy of one of that hypocrite's books. I became disgusted with them when their Women's Bible Study turned into people falling into fits and babbling in tongues and trying  sign me up for their neo-con agenda. My friend being denied help for a wheelchair while that bimbo jets around is the last straw.

Several years ago, my wife and I pulled our family out of a similar church in Augusta, GA.  This church and its pastors were endorsed by WWIC, and had its own share of weirdness back then, which caused our departure.  I am not surprised by all these reports of financial improprieties, salacious tales of lurid affairs, and outright failures of its supposed leaders.  I'm glad we left that scene when we did,  and I'm surprised it took this long for the truth to come out.

Since then, I've often said that the two most destructive forces in the world are self-aggrandizement and ignorance.  I wonder how much more it will take before people stop throwing their money at swine such as these.

Answer to question 1. They do not have such a large following. The church does not have 22000 members. They can barely fit 4000 members in the sanctuary. Every time someone gives a donation whether by check or envelope, if their name is on that document it is entered into the computer. This does not mean they are all members.
2 Answer to question 2. Because other Pastors they collaborate with do the same. They have to keep up with the Joneses.
3. Answer to question 3. Because then everybody will know that we are raping the church. After the bills are paid and payroll, the rest of the income is ours, since we started the church, it is our church.
4. Answer to question 4. Of course not. I make up my own biblical teachings as I go along. It's all about gimme gimme gimme, so that I can live an extravagant lifestyle, carousing and drinking and having a grand ole time.

I am amazed at how so many people are willing to stone Paula White.  What crime did she commit? None that I know of.  Paula white has a gift for connecting with people who hope for a better future. She has been broke, busted and without hope. She is a champion for the underdog, the abused and the forsaken.  Is she perfect. No. In God's eyes. He made her and he doen't make mistakes and he doesn't make junk.  As evasive as Paula White may have been in answering all those questions what struck me as incredible was her strength.  A strong woman. I don't think she is a scammer. I believe she is the real deal. I believe she is all that and much more besides. I never saw her live but I must say that as a black woman Paula White and Suze Orman and Oprah are the three women I admire the most. Don't ask me to explain what I love about Paula. I can't begin to tell you. Whenever I hear her I am awed. My husband is a Pastor and he would love to have 1/100th of what Paula has going for her.  She can ebonize with common folk, speak the Queen's English, built a ministry, make a lot of people who would have given up on life a long time ago realize that they have destiny and a future. A purpose. I actually aspire to be like Paula White When I grow up. Though I'm 39. Mind you after reading all these comments there are a couple of things I will do differently. I will use no pressure to encourage people to make finanical donations to my ministry when I start it. I will tell them if they want to they can sow.  I will finance a livestyle of privilge from a for profit business operation of my own. I will partner with as many young people as I can to help them gain financial freedom by owning their own business.  And I would try to do reverse giving.  If people are in need and they contact my ministry I would be in the business of blessing regular folk with financial profit from by for profit business. I would try to help regular folk in North America and throughout the world this way, especially young people, mothers and women. I'll always love Paula no matter what. That's all.

When a so called woman of God can allow a naked man to occupy the stage that she uses as a platform to preach the Gospel, I know that something is wrong. They take evangelism as a joke. I know people on staff that report that both Randy and Paula use foul language regularly, but having people strip in the studio during a taping of a religious show is just plain wrong. You have sunk to a new low - the video proves it. I am encouraging the people in the  TV department who were at the taping to go to the authorities.  Sexual harassment in the workplace should not be tolerated by anyone, even when the perps are so called Pastors. Shame on you both.

Having been a born again, life transformed christian for almost 30 years, I have seen a lot!  Working in a major Word of Faith ministry for five years will definitely knock the scales from your eyes.  As the book of Ecclesiastes says, "There is nothing new under the sun".  Jesus took care of the moneychangers in the Temple with a whip.  He was not angry because they were taking advantage of those who came to buy.  Since the worshippers traveled once a year to make sacrifice some had different currency and they would cheat them by not giving proper rate of exchange.  In other words the "moneychangers were keeping too much for themselves, thereby taking advantage of people who wanted  simply to worship God.  H-m-m-m,  does that sound familiar?  I don't remember Jesus excusing it because the moneychangers were providing a legitimate service.  Until God's people understand the serious of what these people are doing, stop excusing them and continue to turn a blink eye to it.  Nothing will change.  One must ask why would you condone it?  Unless of course you believe you have something to gain from it.  It is better to lose the hope of becoming a millionaire than to lose your soul.  God's word is not mocked, whatever a man sows, he will reap.  It occured to me several years back, Jesus said, "Many(not a few)will say, but Lord, Lord!  We prophesied and cast demons out in your name. to which he replied,  Depart from me workers of iniquity..... Wake up people, this is our camp!   Not all churches are prophesying and casting out demons.  Wake up!  Check the fruit, not of their ministries, but of their lives.  If there is sin and disbedience to Gods word, no matter what they accomplish (i.e. prophesying, casting out demons, feeding the poor etc.).  Jesus is not impressed and neither should we be.

I see that you are on the “trash Paula” tabloid media bandwagon. You should be ashamed of yourself. As far as your comment about why more people didn’t come to her support--This may come as a big surprise, but most positive people are doing positive things in their lives, they are not wasting time posting on sites like yours. Paula is well loved by the majority of her congregation.  Paula’s ministry does many good things, and she has personally helped me a lot. I think she brings a fresh and relevant Word today, and her teachings are bringing more people to God. I’m tired of the Tampa media beating this to death, looking for dirt that’s none of their business. It’s time to leave this story alone. The only reason to keep this stirred up is to get more of an audience and that’s pretty sad.

I think it's time EVERY SINGLE Christian take a look at their life, where they go to chruch if the bible is taught and if Jesus is worshipped there or not.  I don't know about y'all.  But I've grown tired of the mega churches and I'm very interested in growing deeper in my faith and walking closer to God.  I have a great desire to know Him, love Him and hear His voice.  I believe the time for mega churches and get rich quick schemes in the church are over.   Praise God, we have the Bible to use as our text book.  Let's not get fooled by one more phoney!!

I am 50+ years old and haven't been in a church since my wedding almost 20 years ago. Before that, I attended a few times with my grandmother before I was 10 years old. From what I remember, all the people knew each other, ate lunch at the church together and for those who did not drive, another member took them in their car. OUNCE during the entire service, a small bowl was passed around. Some gave, some didn't. But it was rare to see someone giving more than a dollar or two. These were simpler times, when things were cheaper, but not so much so that ALL the churches expenses were paid out of this humble offering. Something tells me this is how it was supposed to be.

When I watch someone like Paula White I actually feel worse towards those giving to her and to those like her (you know your names but you probably aren't reading this), because the people who are blessed enough to live on this beautiful planet should have a little more smarts.

If you want to be pleasing in Gods eyes, instead of giving to someone like this (who has no problem spending on themselves), take your money and buy a homeless person a sandwhich. Is there an old person you know who needs a ride to the doctor.

It is BECAUSE of people like Paula  I no longer believe or support organized religion. And this doesn't mean I think ALL churches are bad. But I would be alot happier if I saw more of them speaking out and putting an end to "people" like Paula.

The questions asked were relevant and a BULLS EYE to Paula.  You cannot avoid truth, nor dance around it - The judge of all the earth watches all of us and we all have to give account for our lives.  Proverbs 14:12 says "There is a way which seems right...but the end thereof are the ways of death."  So it is possible to be deceived, think we are right, and be absolutely wrong.  We should all take inventory of our lives, be honest with ourselves, and let God change anything that is not Godly in us.

You people are judging with no proof. That what is wrong with the world now. If what is  said is true,  it will come to light and  will by handle as it should be. Only God knows the truth, this is nothing but the work of the Devil. None of us are God or have the right to judge and with no proof at all. Stoned? shipwrecked? in perils amonst the heathen with false brethren? or let down a wall in a basket to avoid being murdered? All for the sake of preaching the gosple? How many times has Jesus taken you up into the third heaven and shown you things that were so unspeakably glorious that he had to send you back to earth to be afflicted?

And you do not have scriptural rights to get divorced. Jesus permitted divorce on the grounds of fornication not adultery.
