Check out Robert's prediction put in last night at 7:00 pm, eight hours before Obama texted the masses. 

"Obama will play it safe, and choose Joe Biden. 36 years in the Senate, constitutional scholar (not to mention former chairman of the Judiciary Committee, a key element as the next President will likely have to nominate one or more Justices to the United States Supreme Court), and even now chairs the Foreign Relations Committee.  With his experience in the Senate, he has the ability to possibly win over important votes and work with the other side. "

Because Flashpoint is taped during the week, I wasn't able to broach the VP issue, so Dr. Susan McManus of USF and  Dr. Scott Paine of University of Tampa and I talked about the tightening poll numbers and the forces behind them.   Also Sunday morning at 11:00, you hear from to very bright political science honor students who help me understand the much vaunted "youth vote".  One is for Obama, the other for McCain, but both see this election as the most important in their lives.
