Flashpoint

This Sunday on Flashpoint

Sandra Murman (R) and former Congressman, Jim Davis (D)  give their take on the livelier races playing out this year. That would include the presidential contest, Buddy Johnson's bid to hold on to his job as Hillsborough County supervisor of elections and the Vern Buchanan/Christine Jennings show in the 13th Congressional district.

Also, you'll learn more about ballot amendments 1 and 2 that would expand rights for aliens and withhold rights from gays... respectively.

Tune in Sunday Morning on ABC Action News at 11:00 and let me know what you think.

Have a great weekend.

Brendan,

Here's something for you to think about:  Change seems to be the big word in this election season.  Everyone's talking about the need for change, and how to achieve it.  But as the old saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Click and paste this posting from my blog:

I'm keeping up with the endorsements from many of Florida's major newspapers.  They tend in many cases to reflect what the results will be like on November 4.  Now, scroll down to the endorsements for the congressional seats.  Almost without exception, the endorsement goes to the incumbant.

It seems that change is OK, as long as it doesn't affect MY backyard.  So much for change...
