Dear Mr. Hornisch,

  Quite noble of you to get in the middle of the verbal squabble your son, Sam Hornisch ,was having with Tony Kanaan.  You probably thought it was pretty macho to push Kanaan.

   Well, Mr. Hornisch, while you gave the I-R-L a moment it needed in the worst way, you also opened yourself up to getting smacked the next time you pull off a stunt like that.

   Kanaan did the wise thing.  He balked at taking a swing.  

   I would think Sam Jr. is oild enough to fight his own battles.  But, I do have to admit, it was the I-R-L moment of the year.  An incident that made every TV sports show in the country, inclduing ours at ABC Action News.
