Can someone please explain to me what has happened to our professional sports landscape.

NFL -- One of it's most prized athletes, Falcons QB Michael Vick, is embroiled in a controversy so disturbing, it's difficult to accept the facts stated in the indictment.

NBA -- A ref bets on NBA games?  Games he officiated?  That makes Pete Rose sound like a choir boy. 

MLB -- A hour before game time Monday, Commissioner Bud Selig says "he's still deciding" whether to attend the Giants game in order to watch Bonds pursuit of Aaron's home run record.  What was he going to do if he decided to go...use a gamma ray to transport him from Milwaukee to San Fran in time for the first pitch?  Thankfully he will be in attendence on Tuesday night.

MLS -- A Brit named David Beckham has actually made the struggling soccer league look like it has it's act together...something the NFL, NBA, and MLB would have a difficult time saying right now.
