Yes, the run to tie Hank Aaron is over for Barry.  Later tonight, he might even surpass 755.  But I couldn't help fell that this accomplishment wasn't really one at all.  I am convinced he cheated his way in with that stuff called steroids.  Millions around the world believe it to.

     I share Commissioner Bud Selig's reaction to Bonds feat tonight with a near yawn and hands firmly entrenched in his pants pockets.  There was no applause by Bud.. There was polite applause by the Petco Field fans, and there were boos.

     Frankly, after spending almost 10 years straight covering MLB owner meetings in the 80's and 90's, I lost my love for the game at that point. Tonight, one of baseball's greatest acoomplishments goes quietly in the night.  Hank your still the man, and will always be the man, until A-Rod makes his run....You don't think he used............too, do you?
