Mike, please take the time tonight to sit back and think about what you've done for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Please take the time to think about what you have meant to your teammates.  Please take the time to think about what you've meant to Tampa Bay...period.  And after enjoying those memories and thoughts...think about retirement. 

   Don't get me wrong...I've truly enjoyed every one of your 71 touchdowns. I've enjoyed the second and third efforts.  I've enjoyed the times we've done interviews.  But, you've come to mean so much to this area...that any chance for another neck injury isn't worth it.  You and your wife Nicole have become the "First Family" of the Tampa Bay area. 

   While we have loved watching your accomplishments on the field, we now are ready to watch you enjoy that family.  How many of us can truly say we have nothing to prove.  You are one of the few that can say that.   Al Keck
