This is such an unfortunate story, but it's reality. The Bucs will shortly be faced with keeping or cutting Quarter Chris Simms. He's fourth on the depth chart, and would jettison to third if he shows any signs of improvement. But that is a big if. With each passing day, Simms might be getting his form back, but it's nowhere near competitive levels.
If there is no change by this time next week, the Bucs will have no choice but to cut him. Do you really think the Bucs would carry four Quarterbacks on the roster!
It's one of the most unfortunate stories in the NFL pre-season. Simms has handled this situation with aplomb. Whether he stays or goes, we wish him well. He is truely one of the most upstanding NFL players I've ever run across. He's honest in his answers. That I will always admire and appreciate. My querstion to you..should the Bucs cut Simms?
