The fate of David Boston's future in the NFL lies in a urine test. Will the test ( following arrest for suspicion of DUI) reveal something or nothing. For the Bucs to come out and basically say they are backing their guy 100% tells me they must have a good idea of the test results already.
I watched that 14 minute sobriety field test on ABC Action News.com. Boston did not seem like he was under the influence of anything. His speech was fine. I could not see his eyes clearly, which the arresting Pinellas Park officer based his suspicions on.
You should take a look at my eyes after a 12 hour day, several hours in the sun, and banging out scripts on a computer. They're bloodshot as heck, and I'm mentally exhausted.
Now, I'm not backing Boston. I'll wait for the test results. I will say that the arresting Pinellas Park cop that conducted the test did it in a professional manner.
If the test comes back negative, we move on. If it doesn't, I don't want to think about the alternative. Don't kid yourself, there's alot riding on the results, for the Bucs and for David Boston. What do you think? Will the test come back positive or negative?
