TK's Monday Bucs bulletin

Make no mistake, the Bucs win Sunday over New Orleans was impressive.  I'm still not sold one way or the other as to whether the Bucs played that good, or the Saints simply stink. I guess we'll find out this Sunday when the oh and 2 Rams come to town.

You can bank on this....Jeff Garcia is one of the top two QB's in the NFC, and top five in the NFL.  Considering he has a o-line (work in progress with the young guards), Garcia's play making ability is right up there with the best in the game.

The Bucs running game still needs work.  I'm giving Williams a pass with those bruised ribs.  But he did make it count when he had to in the redzone.

Defensively, that was one of the hardest hitting efforts I've seen in a long time.  Except for a couple of 3rd and long conversions by NO, one leading to a TD, they were solid.  Game winning solid.

Interesting comment made by John Gruden today regarding Derrick Brooks coming out on some passing downs.  Gruden said he believes Brooks understands they have two good players at that position, the other being Cato June.  The Bucs will do whatever it takes to win games.  Winning is the objective, no matter how you get there...

Also an interesting discussion today involving his Coach/QB relationship with Garcia.  No question, Garcia is having more input on play calling.  We thought so, and actually called for it in earlier blogs last week(see TK's Monday Bucs bulletin 9/10).  It's about time.
