Man, are the AP pollsters in love with the Bulls. Number six in the country! Congratulations to USF for a most unprecedented rise up the ranks. They've earned it, for this week. But as Jim Leavitt will attest to, their ranking now means nothing. It's probably more of a distraction than an honor. You're not going to see the Bulls beat their chest.
What the Bulls have to do now is live up to the ranking. They are the media darlings across the country. But one stumble, and they will tumble- hard. It's a whole new world being among the nation's elite.
Frankly, I can't see the Bulls being ranked ahead of Oklahoma. For that matter, I can't see Kentucky as a top 10 team either. Furthermore, I'm beginning to think the Big East is not as strong a conference as first thought. I'm sure most of you USF fans think otherwise. Bring it if you feel that way. I'm willing to put my opinion on the line, are you?
