Is that USF bandwagon leaking oil???
It would be real easy to say the Bulls never really lived up to the hype. And the Bulls truly missed a big opportunity by losing in front of the Big Apple media by falling 30-27 at Rutgers.
But...
The Bulls gave up 10 points off fake kicks.
The Bulls missed 2 makeable field goals.
The Bulls gave up 7 sacks.
The Bulls had 10 penalties.
The Bulls couldn't prevent Rutgers from taking kickoffs to midfield.
The Bulls allowed Ray Rice to run for 181 yards.
Through all that, and the Bulls still lost by only 3. And, I didn't even mention the infamous blocked field goal.
That tells me more than anything else South Florida will live up to a Top-10 ranking by the time the season is over. The Bulls still have the Big East for the taking. The Bulls must not stumble against U-Conn. The Bulls will have Louisville at home. By beating West Virginia, the Bulls own the advantage in the Big East. How much they take advantage of that advantage is totally up to them. Al Keck
