Will Tony Dungy now retire to Tampa? TK says ...........

It was not the kind of way Tony Dungy would have liked to finish his NFL career.  A loss at home, against the Chargers, a team that won without their starting quarterback Phillip Rivers and running back LaDainian Tomlinson on the game winning drive.

Yet, if you know Tony, when it's time in his heart, it will be time.  My guess is it's that time. Not to say it won't be a difficult decision that will have it degree of second thoughts.  But in the end, my guess is Tony will call it a career in the NFL and embark on a new one - a ministry.

As the NFL will lose a good man on the sidelines, Tampa will gain one, full-time.

If Tony Dungy decides to retire from the Colts, and return to Tampa, I hope he would consider a coaching position with the Bucs. They could use some spiritual  guidance other than the profanity of Gruden. If Monte Kiffen leaves, then perhaps Tony could be made defensive coordinator. If Tony just wants to go into the religious field, hire him as the Bucs chaplain.

I feel that Tony Dungy should do what his heart tells him to. He has accomplished so much and has shown all of us what he is capable of. Through his leadership and guidance he has shown his team what they are capable of and if he chooses to retire and stay home with his family then we should all respect him for it and wish him nothing but the best.

As a Colts fan it will bread my heart to see this wonderful man go but if its what he fells is best then I wish him all the best luck in the world.  I know his job is very demanding and could definitely take a toll on someone so if he wants to just relax from here on out god  speed.  The only thing I would ask is that he does a game or two here and there!!!!  WE LOVE YOU TONY
