Oakland Raider players should speak up now!

It's official.  Raiders Owner Al Davis has lost his mind!  He has become the NFL's poster child baffoon.  Get this.  Davis actually wrote a letter of resignation for his Head Coach Lane Kiffin and asked him to sign it.  Are you kdding me!

We're talking about an owner regarded as a former icon in the league, turned combative, turned nuts.  Someone needs to send a message to Mr. Moneybags and that message should come from the players. Stand up to this guy.  There comes a time when enough is enough.  Obviously, there is no one in the Davis family that will intervene.  Perhaps Commissioner Roger Goodell should do a little inquiring on his own.

Maybe it's because Monte's son is on the receiving end of this ridiculous course of events that I'm fuming over this.  Whether Lane Kiffin was the right guy or not, there is right way, a wrong way, and the Al Davis way of taking care of business.

This way goes beyond wrong.....It's ludicrous!

Rent-a-coach's #1 customer? The Oaklame Raiders!

Lane Kiffin, Art Shell, Bill Callahan, Norv Turner...

Who's next to take charge of this sinking ship? Are you kidding me?!?!?!?

Who would WANT to coach for that team.

Maybe they can lure John Madden back out of retirement.

I've been a long time Raider fan and am disappointed by this news. I had a possitive feeling about the team for the 2008 season as the Raiders have money to spend in free agency as well as a high draft pick. I really thought they made good strides under Kiffin and though the win total was disappointing I felt they played much better and with more fire this season. If Kiffin leaves the team I believe the progress they made will be gone and will have to start from square one once again. As a Raider fan I am tired of this team starting at square one ever year and I'm sure our new QB would like to stick with the same guy as well. I've always defended Al in the past but on this one I cannot
