Lightning Defeseman Dan Boyle has cleared the air.  Boyle now says he has been asked to waive his no trade clause by the Lightning.  It now remains to be seen if Boyle will waive his no-trade clause.  I think he eventually will.

         TSN in Canada reports that "the Lightning are close to a deal with three teams, however as many as five teams are in the mix."

         Boyle did sign a 6-year $40 million dollar extension in February just before the trade deadline.  There is plenty of money there that would free up room to sign Vinny LeCavalier.
