What is going on!? The Rays dropped a 5 game division lead in a week! The hitting stinks! The pitching stinks! The fielding stinks!

Could the All-Star Break come at a better time for this team?

Maddon's bunch has hit a rough patch. It happens to everybody. It's the way you bounce back from trouble taht dictates how deep into the season you play...

...and I want to buy a ticket for a baseball game at the Trop in October. The Rays just had their worst week of the season. But the good news is, they can afford it.

After all that...Crawford going 0-for-23, the defense falling asleep and the Red Sox creeping up on them...the boys in blue are still only a 1/2 game behind Boston thanks to their electric start to the year.  

This past week was tough but rest easy Tampa Bay. It's just a bump in the road, but these next four days off should be just the tonic the Rays need to make a playoff push in August.

And make sure your calendar is clear for the first week in October.
