HEAD COACH JON GRUDEN
(On Matt Bryant’s status)
“We’ll let you know, but it’s obviously a tragic situation. He got a lot of support from his teammates and we’re obviously praying for he and Melissa.”
(On a contingency plan if Bryant can’t play Sunday)
“Yeah, we’ll address that when the time is right. Right now we’re getting ready for the Green Bay Packers and dealing with a tough situation. We’re doing our best.”
(On liking Greg Jennings before the 2006 draft)
"Yeah, we had Greg in here and we liked him a lot. Second round draft choice – we weren't the only team that liked him. Obviously Green Bay did, too. He's a great kid, he's a great young man, very impressive. He's a great finisher. He's as good with the ball in his hands as a lot of guys I've seen. He's off to a great start as a young professional and we've got to deal with that."
(On Green Bay's running game)
"Yeah, they're a handful, and they use their tight ends creatively. Sometimes you'll see two fullbacks in the backfield and sometimes they're in a one-back set. Aaron Rodgers' mobility makes him a double-edged sword. They're a very talented offensive team; they deserve a lot of credit in how they put it together."
(On having a contingency plan regarding Bryant)
"Yes, yes we do. Again, we'll deal with that. We're dealing with it the best way we can right now. The big thing right now is to support Matt. It's a very, very tough situation."
(On if the offensive line gets worn out by a game like Sunday's)
"Yeah, I think so. Any time you have 87 snaps of offense, somebody's going to be tired. But I don't hear any complaining. They may be complaining to you, but I think they're very happy to win the football game and they really don't care if we run it 67 times or throw it 67 times. They know what the game plan is and we trust each other here and we're working together."
