For those of you at Ray Jay, and for those of you that watched the game on TV, we witnessed a moment that I, for one, will not forget. Seeing Matt Bryant wiped away the tears after kicking his first field goal, looking into the sky to acknowledge the spirit of his departed son Tryson, moved me.
I looked beyond the jersey. I saw a father in pain. I saw a father who was making his peace with such an unfortunate time in his family's life with ever kick. In an imperfect world, Matt was perfect on this afternoon. I hoped for that to happen. I would think you did to.
Heart can't be measured, only felt. Matt, I for one, feel for you and your family. I'm quite sure there are thousands of others who do to. As Josh Bidwell told me, "Tryson was proud." So were we.
