Grim Rippers. Rays lead 5-1

The Rays have kept the power surge at Fenway.

Willy Arbar has added a 2-run homer in the 3rd inning.  Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria hammered 1st inning bombs.

Andy Sonnanstine got careless with former Ray Kevin Cash.  Cash belted a homer in the 3rd.  That cut the Rays lead to 5-1.

Tim Wakefield leaves giving up 5 runs on 6 hits.  Three of those hits were home runs.

For what it is worth, there is a smattering of empty seats around Fenway.

    Rays lead 5-1 4th inning.

But something tells me the Red Sox are still very dangerous.
