As if Cole Hamels isn't tough enough to hit, he gets the benefit of the doubt on a play which could very well change the complexion of game 1 of this World Series.

Bottom 6, Carlos Pena on first.  Pena takes off for second, and Cole throws to first....only after it appears he had offered to throw home....in baseball vernacular, that is a balk and Pena should have been awarded second base....instead he gets throw out at second with Evan Longoria at the dish.
