I actually started to feel sorry for Kentucky. They went into Florida Field beat up, and then got pulverized Saturday by Urban Meyer's team.
Florida put 63 points on the board against the Wildcats. Gators wee relentless, and could have backed off, but there's a BCS poll out there that prohibits that kind of thinking. Had Florida not creamed Kentucky today, it would have cost them on the BCS polls. Thye'r ewere 10th going into today, and needed a boost with Georgia coming up next Saturday.
In fact, barring any unforseen upsets, the Gators will need more than a win over Georgia to get back into the national championship picture. A win by Texas Tech over Texas would be a big help, but don't count on it. For now, the Gators will take the 63-5 win.
