More lineup and batting order changes for tonight's Game 5 of the World Series.
Joe Maddon is moving Carl Crawford up to 2nd in the batting order. That drops BJ Upton to 3rd, Carlos Pena to 4th and Evan Longoria to 5th.
Maddon admits Pena and Longoria are pressing. They are a combined 0-for-29 with 15 strikeouts. Maddon says dthe Rays -- as a team -- are not showing patience at the plate. And the Rays are going after pitches Philadelphia wants them to hit.
Maddon also put Rocco Baldelli in rightfield and will bat him 7th.
Talked to analyst Tim McCarver. He wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Rays take the Series back to the Trop. He believes the Rays' offensive woes also has plenty to do with Philadelphia pitching and not just tropubles at the plate.
It will be a raw night in Philadelphia. Temps may dip into the 40's. And there should be a strong breeze. And a chance of rain.
