Rays-ing Expectations

The Phillies have the advantage in the continuation of Game 5 of the World Series.

That's great news for the Rays.

The Phillies will get one more at bat.

The Phillies still lead the Fall Classic 3-games-to-1.

The Phillies are home and have the cold, wind and maybe even snow on their side.

Again...all great news for the Rays.

All season when things appeared stacked against the Rays they have come out swinging.

Remember Games 3 and 4 at Boston?  There was no way the Rays could get to Jon Lester and there was no way the Rays could keep scoring runs at a rate of 9 per game.

   Yet the Rays did it.

And when the Rays were trailing Cole Hamels in the rain in Game 5, the Rays put together what turned out to be a miracle rally to get new life.

All I'm saying is belief goes a long ways.  The Rays "believe" they will get the Series back to the Trop and who knows what can happen from there.

You should hear Philadelphia talk radio.  It is all about the way Bud Selig and MLB hosed Philly by allowing Game 5 to continue until the Rays scored the tying run.  They are all wondering why this stuff always happens in Philly.  If anything Philly fans "believe" somebody is out to screw them.

The Rays call tonight a 3-and-a-half inning war.  Youy always fight harder when you "believe" in what you are fighting for.
