Rick Tocchet the teacher, the X and O's guy. Now he is the guy, albeit on an interim basis. Fact is, if today's morning practice showed anything, there was a little more jump in the step of the Lightning players. Whether or not it will equate into the beginning of a turnaround, we shall see.
Most of the players weren't available for interviews after practice. Martin St. Louis was available, and. I commend him for stepping up at a time when someone needs to step up. Someone needs to make the entire team accountable. I get the feeling St. Louis will be one those guys.
Right now the onus is on the players. Will they respond. Will they eventually become a team. Peer pressure is a powerful tool. Time to use it! No more excuses.
