The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have signed RB Noah Herron and LB Matt McCoy. In addition, the team placed RB Earnest Graham and LB Geno Hayes on Injured Reserve.
In his fourth NFL season, former Packers RB Herron has appeared in 23 games and has totaled 273 rushing yards on 85 carries with three touchdowns while adding 29 receptions for 211 yards and two touchdowns.
McCoy played in three games for the Buccaneers this season before being released on October 18. For his career, he has played in 33 games with 10 starts and has registered 86 tackles and three fumble recoveries. He also has 40 career special teams tackles.
Graham has started all 10 games this season and leads the team with 563 yards rushing on 132 attempts (4.3 avg.) and four touchdowns. He also ranks fifth on the team with 23 receptions for 174 yards.
Hayes, a sixth-round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, has played in nine games this season and has eight tackles on defense and is tied for fourth on the team with seven special teams tackles. He also has one blocked punt, which he returned for his first career touchdown vs. Carolina.
