It's not over yet. While the Noles tee it up with Florida next weekend, they'll be keeping an eye on the Maryland-Boston College game. Should Maryland defeat BC, that would create a two-team A-C-C Atlantic Division tiebreaker with FSU and Maryland. Noles would win the tiebreaker by virtue of their 37-3 win tonight against the Terps.
FSU's win over Maryland was a sound whipping. The victory was accented with the news that safety Myron Role earned a Rhodes Scholarship, and then boarded a plane to join his team against Maryland.
Having FSU coming to Tampa for the A-C-C title game would be a big boost to the game. Ticket sales haven't exactly been flying off the shelf. For the Noles sake, let's hope Maryland reloads. Their effort tonight wasn't even competitive.
