B With seven receptions for 50 yards today, RB Warrick Dunn recorded his 500th career reception and became just the sixth player in NFL history to record 10,000 rushing yards and 500 receptions. He now has 504 receptions for 4,316 yards receiving along with 10,910 yards rushing in his career. San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson became the fifth player to accomplish the feat in Week 13 of this season. The five other players in NFL history with at least 10,000 rushing yards and 500 receptions along with Dunn are Marcus Allen, Tiki Barber, Marshall Faulk, Emmitt Smith and Tomlinson.

- Dunn also moved ahead of Keyshawn Johnson (298 receptions as a Buccaneer from 2000-03) for fourth on the Buccaneers all-time receptions list as he now has 300 receptions as a Buccaneer. Dunn finished the day with 90 yards of total offense (40 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving).
- After recording a career day a week ago at Carolina, WR Antonio Bryant continued to shine this week with eight receptions for 108 yards and one touchdown, including 106 receiving yards in the first half. Bryant has now set new single-season career highs in receptions and receiving yards, and tied his career high in touchdowns with 74 receptions for 1,044 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season. Bryant’s previous career-high in receptions and receiving yards came in 2005 when he recorded 69 catches for 1,009 yards while he was with the Cleveland Browns. Bryant also scored six touchdowns in 2002, his rookie season with the Dallas Cowboys. Bryant currently is ranked 10th on the Buccaneers single season receptions list and ninth on the Buccaneers single-season receiving yards list. This is Bryant’s second 1,000-yard receiving season of his career (also in 2005 with Cleveland) and the eighth straight season that the Buccaneers have had a 1,000-yard receiver.

- Today’s 13-10 overtime loss to Atlanta marked the third overtime game for the Buccaneers this season, all on the road, with the team holding a 2-1 record in those games. It is the most overtime games played in a season for Tampa Bay since 1983 when the team also played in three overtime games carrying a 1-2 record in those games. The Buccaneers two other overtime games this season were a Week 3 27-24 win over Chicago (9/21) and a Week 9 30-27 win over Kansas City (11/2).
- CB Aqib Talib recorded his fourth interception of the season in the second quarter, tying for the team lead with CB Ronde Barber. Talib now has the second most interceptions in a single season by a rookie in team history, passing Tony Covington (three interceptions in 1991). The current record is held by Donnie Abraham, who recorded five interceptions during his rookie season in 1996.
- CB Ronde Barber recorded his fourth interception of the season and the 37th of his career in the second quarter, tying for the team lead. Barber has now recorded four interceptions in the last four games, all of which have come on the road (two at Detroit, one at Carolina, and one today at Atlanta).
- S Jermaine Phillips recorded his first forced fumble of the season and the 10th of his career in the third quarter when he tackled Falcons TE Jason Rader on the one-yard line, preventing the Falcons from scoring a touchdown. The fumble was recovered by CB Phillip Buchanon in the end zone for a touchback. It was Buchanon’s first fumble recovery of the season and the third of his career.
- WR Brian Clark recorded his first career blocked punt and the team’s second of the season in the fourth quarter, setting up K Matt Bryant’s game-tying 38-yard field goal with 44 seconds to play. The Buccaneers first blocked punt this season came in Week 6 against Carolina (10/12) when rookie LB Geno Hayes recorded the first blocked punt of his career, proceeding to scoop the ball and score a touchdown.
- S Tanard Jackson recorded his first sack of both the season and his career in the third quarter.
- DE/DT Jimmy Wilkerson recorded his first start of the season and the sixth of his career.
- After seeing action in today’s game, TE John Gilmore has now played in 100 career games in the NFL. He finished the day with one reception for 12 yards.
- WR Michael Clayton recorded his 200th career reception today after finishing the day with three receptions for 41 yards.
